Randy Young commented on Steve Burks's blog post Developing vocal groups' harmonic skill
"Steve - I know what you mean about being practical about introducing it. I have often found the same thing, too much too soon can cause eyes to glaze. So am I safe to say that once they learn their harmony - it's associated to a song in…"

Randy Young commented on Susan Haugland's blog post Why, not What or How

Profile Information

How has music impacted your life?
I have been playing music since I was 8 years old. I have supported myself by being professionally active in music for most of my adult life.

I have learned more about people and life through playing music and writing music than anything else. The focus and discipline required, the people skills and just overall self-awareness has lead me to lead a very fulfilled life.

With a mix of my formal background at Dick Grove School of Music and my professional experience, I have found a passion in teaching aspiring artists from the ages of 6 to 60.
Are you teacher?
Yes - absolutely :)
